Happiness Kingdom is a mind-body fitness consultancy, founded by Yogi Sukhdev. A highly experienced specialist in human movement, Sukhdev draws on yoga, meditation, strength training, Pilates and martial arts to help each of his clients attain their personal mind-body fitness goals. The benefits of mind-body fitness apply to every level and sphere of human endeavour. His highly personalized strategies for success have helped shape the award-winning careers of world-class athletes, including champion golfers Jyoti Randhawa and Mardan Marmat and the Indian national cricket team. OUR PHILOSOPHY
To arrive at a destination, you must first identify its whereabouts and then chart a course to reach it. Happiness is no different.
Many people wander aimlessly or pace the earth in search of the elusive concept of happiness. They crave the instant gratification of food and flesh, and cram their lives with the empty pleasures of material possessions. They travel to exotic locations and wallow in six-star luxury. Deluded and desperate, they clutch at distractions in the pursuit of happiness.
And yet… happiness is within everyone’s reach. It is all in the mind.
But that begs the question – where is the mind? Unlike the brain, it is not a physical entity, and yet it is contained within the physical self for the term of this natural life. One way to happiness is via mind-body fitness. By ridding the body of all physical unease and stress, the mind too will be freed from unease and stress and more receptive to the sublime stillness that is happiness.
A quiet, calm, still mind, emptied of all distractions. That is the ‘HappinessKingdom’ that resides within each of us. Happiness Kingdom is founded on the belief that this perfect but possible place is within the reach of every human being.
OUR APPROACH
Though Happiness Kingdom adopts a highly systematic approach to mind-body fitness, its application is tailored to each client’s physical condition, lifestyle and personal life goals. Typically, a mind-body fitness plan by Happiness Kingdom will focus on breathing, mobility and stability.
With mindful breathing comes mental calmness. Once mindful breathing is mastered, the focus will shift to mobility. This involves the activation of the correct muscles to ensure that blood flow to the joints is optimal and no parts of the body are overly stressed or under-utilized. Master Yogi is well known in the Fitness and Yoga community. He has masterly crafted the art of
yoga over many years of training, practice and teaching in India, Singapore and internationally.
He is an exponent of Hot Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and new innovative forms of yoga that are taught in
yoga studios.
He is a supporter of holistic yogic lifestyle, He possesses an in-depth knowledge of human body
